This is a regional based role in the Metro Atlanta area. The Area Manager’s responsibility is to oversee an assigned area of Playa Bowl locations and is responsible for creating and cultivating the Playa Bowls culture with all team members in the system. They are people developers, and know how to motivate, train, hold accountable and have fun with their teams. They are planners but can also fight fires in the business when necessary. They excel in business planning, driving operational excellence and guest experience. They will provide business acumen and financial management with effective communication. They will perform all responsibilities with the utmost dignity and respect while garnering effective relationships via mutual trust and respect.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nDemonstrates the Playa Bowls values of community, respect, integrity, quality and passion in words and actions\nAssess and analyze the shops KPI’s to understand where the stores are performing relative to Playa Bowls brand benchmarks and puts plans in place to achieve results\nLead, Influence and hold General Managers accountable to achieving KPI’s\nMonitoring shop performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to improve operations and guest satisfaction\nDrives the business through mentoring and training management and builds a personal development plans for their GM’s\nAccountable for Building Great Management Teams in shop from GM to team members.\nConduct site evaluations and put in place action plans which foster improved overall unit level performance\nProvide written communication within 24 hours regarding visits and evaluation\nMaintain, support, and compliance in the Food Safety and Sanitation\nComplete annual business forecasting and budgets for area of responsibility\nMaintains Operational Excellence in shop every day and ever shift by following all processes and procedures\nRollout training for all new products and procedures\nEnsure shops are following all processes and procedures to achieve operational excellence\nConducts Performance evaluations on Team, develops development plans and KPI tracking and holding team accountable for delivering results\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\n\n3-5 years’ relevant experience; previous experience supervising a multi-unit business environment preferred multi-unit supervision required\nAbility to build strong working relationships with General Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, Team members and community partnerships\nAbility to multi-task, have strong organization skills, and proven ability to manage conflict\nAdvanced knowledge of consultative approaches and experience guiding leaders to make solid business decisions\nStrong business acumen skills with the ability to plan and set clear priorities to achieve business objectives\nAbility to work independently and adapt to changing environments\nExcellent communication skills; both written and oral, as well as listening skills\n\nWORK CONDITIONS\n\nTravel is required for restaurant visitation, scheduled meetings, or company functions, otherwise work is completed in a home office setting\nMust be available to work weekends\n\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS\n\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time\nMust be able to lift or otherwise move 25-40 pounds occasionally\nMust be able to retrieve items from high and low shelving, the fridge/freezer, and under counters.\n\nMISSION\n\nInspire and support our communities one bowl at a time.\n\nVALUES\n\nReal Deal.
