Controls Hardware Engineer
The primary job function of the Controls Hardware Engineer will be to work in several aspects of industrial controls engineering. This will involve electrical schematic design, coordinate designs and implementation with Software and Functional Safety teams and supporting the designs throughout the machine build process. An initial training phase of working with a Senior Designer for up to two years will occur to learn how to develop machine and equipment solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:Understand and perform all controls hardware engineering tasksSupport Senior Designers and Project EngineersGenerate electrical schematics and supporting filesEvaluation of customer specifications and their impact to GROB's productsApply international (IEC, ISO) and national (NFPA) standardsEducation & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringKnowledge of electrical designComputer programming experience (C#, Visual Basic) is a plusKnowledge of industrial wiring practices is a plusKnowledge of EPLAN design software is a plusGeneral Requirements:Self-motivated and team playerExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong math skills and understanding of basic electrical circuitsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Willing to work overtime as neededWilling to travel domestic and internationalAbility to secure and maintain a valid passportGROB offers a competitive wage as well as an excellent benefit package including vacation, health, prescription, dental, vision, STD, life, 401K, and shift premiums.Application Information
