Overview
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support investment operations, reporting, and analysis. This role offers a mix of technical accounting, analytical work, and cross-functional collaboration, providing strong exposure across multiple areas of finance and investments.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Operations & Reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investment reconciliations across custodial statements, general ledger, and sub-ledgers
Research and resolve variances, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Validate NAV, income, fees, accruals, and gains/losses in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
Maintain investment roll-forwards, financial statement disclosures, and support close and audit processes
Direct Investments
Monitor direct investments and maintain key tracking schedules, including capital activity, valuations, and commitments
Manage documentation and reporting requirements in coordination with external partners and internal stakeholders
Track performance and ensure accurate reporting across investment classes
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
Support internal controls and policy compliance across investment activity
Partner with accounting on financial statement disclosures and audit support
Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with custodians, investment managers, and internal teams to ensure consistent, accurate reporting
Support ongoing communication and coordination across finance, accounting, and treasury
What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2–3 years of experience in investment operations, investment accounting, portfolio analysis, or treasury
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Knowledge of investment instruments (equities, fixed income, mutual funds/ETFs) and exposure to alternatives
Understanding of GAAP, NAV calculations, and performance measurement
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
