In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to support data analysis, reporting, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and BI tools, combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.\nThis position requires a local candidate for a mix of in-person and remote working capabilities (60% on-site, subject to change). LaSalle St, Chicago IL 60603).\nKey Responsibilities:\nData Warehouse Development: Design and implement data warehouse architectures and solutions that support operational reporting and data analysis.\nETL Development: Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple source systems into the data warehouse.\nBusiness Intelligence Solutions: Develop and deploy BI solutions using tools such as Cognos Analytics, SSRS, or other reporting platforms. Ensure the availability of meaningful and actionable insights to business stakeholders.\nData Modeling: Design and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects to ensure optimal performance and efficient querying.\nData Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring accurate and consistent data across the warehouse and BI systems.\nReport Development: Build and optimize complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business users to support decision-making.\nCollaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.\nPerformance Tuning: Continuously assess and improve the performance of ETL processes, data warehouse queries, and BI reports.\nDocumentation: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all BI and data warehousing processes, including data flow diagrams, code documentation, and system configurations.\nTraining: Provide training and support to end-users for BI Tools and solutions; including developing user guides and best practices.\nTroubleshooting and Support: Provide support to end-users and address issues related to data, reporting, and BI tools.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nExperience: 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, or ETL development.\nTechnical Expertise:\nStrong experience with ETL tools (e.g., SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Talend, Informatica).\nExperience with data modeling techniques and database design.\nProficiency in SQL for querying, optimizing, and managing relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).\nFamiliarity with BI tools such as Cognos Analytics, SSRS, etc.\nUnderstanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, OLAP).\nKnowledge of data governance and data quality management best practices.\nProblem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business needs.\nCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
