Partnering closely with the Plant Manager, you take ownership of the maintenance department—planning work, solving problems fast, and ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and production-ready.Salary - $34 - $36/hourA Day in the LifeMorning walkthroughs set the pace—you inspect critical assets, assign priorities to the maintenance crew, and kick off preventive maintenance tasks to avoid unplanned downtime. Throughout the day, you coordinate repairs to processing equipment, collaborate with the MP&V Manager as needed, and flag any issues that could affect product quality or quantity to the Plant Manager. You keep the floor safe, tidy, and compliant, and you step in to coach, schedule, and support your team so work is executed efficiently and safely. You own results for the department and pitch in wherever management needs an extra set of hands.Core ResponsibilitiesLead daily monitoring of all plant equipment to spot issues early.Oversee maintenance and repairs for all processing machinery.Run a robust preventive maintenance program for processing assets.Support the MP&V Manager when applicable.Escalate any concerns impacting product volume or quality to the Plant Manager.Maintain a safe work area and promptly report hazards.Assume full responsibility for maintenance department outcomes.Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.Uphold the Code of Business Ethics—model honesty, integrity, and the highest ethical standards.Judgment & ImpactThis role requires sound decision-making. Expect prolonged standing and labor-intensive tasks. Ability to lift 50 lbs required. Good manual dexterity is essential. You will work around forklifts and machinery with moving parts.While performing duties, you will regularly sit and communicate; frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stand and walk.
