Senior Superintendent
The Senior Superintendent will lead field operations for large-scale church and ministry construction projects, serving as the on-site leader responsible for safety, quality, schedule, and overall client experience. This role requires a relationship-driven builder who understands the unique nature of ministry environments and can successfully execute complex projects while remaining sensitive to active congregations and leadership.This individual must be equally strong in operational execution and client engagement, ensuring that projects align with the ministry's vision, mission, and long-term goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProject LeadershipOversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completionManage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient executionDevelop, maintain, and drive detailed project schedules and sequencing plansLead regular coordination meetings with project teams and key stakeholdersProactively identify and resolve issues to maintain schedule and budget commitmentsClient & Ministry PartnershipAct as the primary on-site representative and build strong relationships with church leadership and staffMaintain a high level of communication, transparency, and professionalismEnsure construction activities align with ongoing church operations, services, and eventsDemonstrate a service-oriented approach, recognizing the importance of the facility to the congregation and communityBudget & Cost AwarenessSupport strict adherence to project budgets and financial goalsIdentify value-engineering opportunities and cost efficiencies in the fieldCollaborate with the project team to minimize change orders and avoid cost overrunsSafety & QualityEnforce jobsite safety standards and promote a zero-incident cultureEnsure all work meets or exceeds quality expectationsConduct regular inspections and maintain accountability across all tradesPlanning & Preconstruction SupportProvide field expertise during preconstruction and design phasesAssist with constructability reviews, site logistics planning, and phasing strategiesContribute to planning efforts for complex or occupied campus environmentsRequired Qualifications10+ years of commercial construction experience with increasing leadership responsibility5+ years as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on large-scale projectsProven experience delivering ground-up construction and major renovationsRequired Specialized ExperienceMega church construction experience, including large auditoriums, multi-building campuses, and phased constructionExperience working on active or occupied campuses with minimal disruption to operationsStrong expertise in underground utilities and site development, including complex grading, storm, sanitary, and water systemsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to operate effectively in a high-touch, client-facing environmentStrong scheduling, sequencing, and logistical planning skillsHigh level of organization and attention to detailProactive problem solver with a sense of ownership and accountabilityIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a builder who:Thrives in a relationship-driven, service-oriented environmentUnderstands the importance of aligning construction execution with a larger mission or purposeDemonstrates humility, professionalism, and strong leadership presenceTakes pride in delivering high-quality projects that serve both congregations and the broader communityBenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision, 401k PTO Email Your Resume In Word ToJason.Styczen@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
