This hybrid position offers a flexible schedule with 2 days in the office, 3 days working remotely, and occasional client visits. The Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, partnering with internal leadership to deliver exceptional service, manage employee benefit programs, and build long-term client relationships. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while leading client meetings and open enrollment activities.Essential Duties:Manage day-to-day service for an assigned book of employee benefits clients.Partner with Producers and Directors to develop and execute client service strategies.Prepare and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to insurance carriers.Review carrier proposals, contracts, benefit plan summaries, and source documents for accuracy.Analyze benefit plan options and provide recommendations on medical, life, disability, and other employee benefit programs.Research market trends, carrier products, and alternative funding strategies to support client recommendations.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and vendor partners.Negotiate renewals and recommend benefit plan changes based on client needs and market conditions.Lead client meetings, open enrollment presentations, and employee education sessions.Conduct annual compliance reviews and present findings to clients.Coordinate with internal support staff to update benefit guides, communication materials, and enrollment resources.Respond to client questions and resolve benefit, carrier, or vendor service issues in a timely manner.Maintain accurate client information within the agency management system.Exercise sound judgment and work independently while collaborating with internal teams.Requirements/Skills:Bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, client services, account management, or a related field.Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration, Health Care Reform, carrier products, and industry trends.Ability to independently manage client relationships and anticipate client needs.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and public speaking skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Experience reviewing benefit plans, insurance proposals, renewals, and compliance documentation preferred.Life, Accident & Health Insurance License preferred; employer is willing to assist qualified candidates in obtaining licensure if needed.Ability to travel locally for client meetings as required.Compensation & Benefits:Performance-based incentive opportunities.Hybrid work schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote).Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.401(k) with company match.Health and wellness benefits.Employee discount programs.Collaborative, team-oriented culture with opportunities for professional growth.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.Ability to travel locally to attend client meetings and presentations.Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.Ability to present information to groups in both virtual and in-person settings.Equal Opportunity Statement:**Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
