Tutors will provide intensive academic support to students identified as needing additional intervention to strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and build confidence as learners. Programming tutoring will follow a school-based schedule developed by administrators and to be determined.Position SummarySummer High-Dosage Tutors deliver small-group to individualized instruction aligned to district curriculum and student learning needs. Instruction is structured, consistent, and responsive, ensuring students receive personalized support in a focused learning environment. Each student group will receive no more than 2 hours of tutoring per day, with group size and structure determined by student need. For additional information please contact your building principal.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-dosage tutoring in Math and/or ELA to assigned studentsDeliver instruction in small groups or one-to-one settings based on student data and learning plansUse district-approved curriculum, intervention resources, and assessment toolsPlan and implement lessons that are target specific skill gaps and reinforce grade-level standardsMonitor student progress and adjust instruction accordinglyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must hold or be eligible for state of Delaware initial or continuing licenseMust be certified in the area you are applyingMust complete and submit an online application.
