This position is responsible for all order processing, including gathering all necessary information and data for production, delivery, and billing requirements. The Project Manager takes ownership of each order and billable specials; managing all aspects from beginning to end with accuracy, quality and in a timely manner, with the goal of total customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently or within a team environment with minimal supervision. The candidate will be the center of fostering a relationship with sales, production, and dispatch.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nManage complete order life cycle from inception to delivery.\nAnswer all customer requests/inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.\nPrice verification, manage change orders and additional components.\nSchedule all orders and promptly gather all order requirements.\nFollow up on all submittals to ensure timely approval and processing.\nCoordinate with multiple teams and departments to assure accurate and on-time product delivery.\nDaily management of job progress and customer satisfaction.\nAssist in scheduling field support visits to resolve any issues and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution.\nMaintain system data accuracy and integrity.\nParticipate in team meetings.\nBe able to back-up and work closely with sales and help other departments as needed.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to manage an order throughout its complete life cycle.\nAbility to read/interpret civil engineering plans and CP&P production drawings.\nLearn and understand CP&P product types.\nAbility to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of sales techniques.\nThorough knowledge of CP&P precast concrete products and their purpose is strongly preferred.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems/applications (Titan or similar ERP preferred).\nQualifications:\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service, project management, or construction site development.\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nPost-secondary education/training or combination of education/experience preferred.\nFamiliarity with precast concrete production systems and processes strongly preferred.\nExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.\nRequirements:\nMust reside in the continental U.S. within the assigned region. No relocation assistance is provided.\nMust have a valid driver's license.\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.\nTypical Schedule: Work is generally performed Monday-Friday, 40+ hours per week depending on workload and production demands.\n\nTypical Physical Demands: Physical mobility, which may require any or all of the following: standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50lbs. max).\n\nWorking Conditions: Work is generally performed in an office environment with conditioned air and fluorescent lighting. May occasionally enter the production environment, with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting.
