This role will focus on Linux administration, infrastructure automation, deployment support, troubleshooting distributed systems, and improving operational efficiency through automation.\nResponsibilities\nDeploy and support production server infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot hardware, Linux, and application-related issues.\nDevelop automation tools and streamline deployment pipelines.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to maintain service reliability and performance.\nSupport large-scale distributed systems and content delivery services.\nParticipate in on-call rotations as needed.\nHelp define and maintain SLOs and SLIs.\nRequired Skills\n2+ years of systems, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure experience.\nStrong Linux/Unix administration experience.\nPython scripting experience.\nExperience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.\nUnderstanding of HTTP/HTTPS and web technologies.\nStrong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, OSI Model).\nExperience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, or KVM.\nKnowledge of client/server architecture and distributed systems.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nPreferred Technologies\nAnsible\nPython\nGolang\nGit\nDocker\nGrafana\nApache Traffic Control (ATC)\nApache Traffic Server (ATS)\nYAML / JSON\niLO / iDRAC\n\nAbout CEI\nCEI is a trusted technology and staffing partner that helps organizations transform their businesses through innovative solutions and highly skilled talent.
