Classes may include game development, Roblox Studio, Minecraft-based learning, introductory artificial intelligence, 3D design, digital media, and robotics.\n\nInstructors must be comfortable presenting lessons, supporting students with different experience levels, troubleshooting basic technology issues, and maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Deliver assigned coding and technology curriculum.\n* Explain technical concepts in an age-appropriate manner.\n* Help students build, test, debug, and improve their projects.\n* Monitor student participation, behavior, and safety.\n* Set up and organize laptops, robotics equipment, and instructional materials.\n* Maintain attendance and basic program documentation.\n* Communicate promptly with the program manager regarding attendance, technology, behavior, or safety concerns.\n* Work collaboratively with other instructors and school personnel.\n* Complete required training and prepare for assigned lessons.\n* Follow all Code Ninjas and school-district policies and procedures.\n\nQualifications\n\n* Experience or coursework in computer science, engineering, education, game development, digital media, robotics, or a related field.\n* Experience working with children or youth is strongly preferred.\n* Comfortable learning and teaching technology platforms.\n* Strong communication, reliability, and classroom-management skills.\n* Ability to work independently while following an established curriculum.\n* Ability to arrive on time at assigned Perris-area school sites.\n* Must be at least 18 years old.\n* Must be authorized to work in the United States.\n\nTechnology Experience\n\nExperience with one or more of the following is helpful but not required:\n\n* Scratch or MakeCode\n* Roblox Studio\n* Minecraft Education\n* Python or JavaScript\n* LEGO or similar educational robotics\n* Tinkercad or introductory 3D design\n* Browser-based artificial intelligence and digital-media tools\n\nEmployment Requirements\n\nSelected candidates must complete all applicable school-program requirements before beginning work with students.
