Opportunities may be on‑site or in an MBP office to include on‑site construction inspection, project documentation, research, litigation support, forensic accounting, computer applications, scheduling, cost estimating, review of plans and specifications, project closeout activities, and report development. Interns will contribute to projects serving a variety of industries, including construction and government contracting, providing valuable exposure to real‑world project delivery and professional consulting services.\n\nResponsibilities\nEXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:\n\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, finance, or any analytical business discipline.\n\nStrong academic performance in construction management and/or construction administration; mechanical systems; project management; project controls, including schedule, estimating, and/or risk; financing and budgeting, or construction law. Interest in construction consulting, project delivery, analytics, contracts, or professional services\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nSupport project teams with research, analysis, and project‑related activities.\n\nProvide project documentation and tracking.\n\nGather, organize, and maintain project documentation, records, and databases.\n\nCollect, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources.\n\nPrepare spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.\n\nAssist in the development of project findings, recommendations, and solutions.\n\nParticipate in project meetings and document key discussions, action items, and decisions.\n\nAssist with proposal preparation, market research, and business development initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project objectives and client needs.\n\nLearn and apply industry best practices, company procedures, and project requirements.\n\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\n\nStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and proficiency with BlueBeam.\n\nAbility to learn new technologies, software applications, and business processes quickly.\n\nDemonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.\n\nSTANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE:\n\nPresents self within the firm and to outside contacts as a professional representative of the MBP team with:\n\nReliability. Must adhere to MBP's values.\n\nDedication, courtesy, and responsiveness to client needs.\n\nConfidentiality must be maintained on all project and marketing information.\n\nEmphasis on quality and attention to detail in all actions.\n\nStatus: Full‑time or part‑time\n\nThe base hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $28.00.
