Application Architect

Job Title: Application Architect V - Oracle Developer (GL) Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Role) Work Authorization: W2 Candidates Only Main Skills: Techno-Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of both business processes and Oracle EBS technology, specifically in the General Ledger domain. Oracle EBS: Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly in General Ledger modules. Database Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning and optimization. Scripting: Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting for automation and system management tasks. Job Description: Architectural Vision: Define and communicate a clear architectural vision and solution architecture aligned with enterprise goals. Solution Design: Describe the solution intent, operating environment, system interfaces, and non-functional requirements to enable new features and opportunities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure the solution's suitability and evaluate strategic design decisions. Agile Development: Lead rapid shaping of high-level architecture, adapting to evolving business needs. Ensure architecture is flexible, modular, and scalable. Technical Leadership: Facilitate solution-driven discussions, guide the design of complex architectures, and foster innovation through practical experiments and POCs. Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Manager/Owner to prioritize technology backlog items to support business initiatives. Development Support: Clarify the architecture for development teams, providing guidance and solution options to address architectural impediments. Quality Assurance: Conduct design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, etc.) are met. Technology Advocacy: Educate team members on technology best practices, standardization strategies, and innovative solutions. Technical Skills: Oracle EBS: Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite, especially General Ledger. Database: Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, and Exadata. Operating System & Scripting: Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting. Data Replication: Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate. Cloud: Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.
