This position will collaborate with a multidisciplinary A/E team and will work on municipal, land development, private, industrial, healthcare, military/defense, and other projects. Subject Matter Expertise on engineering projects that are largely water resources focused including civil, hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and analysis. Ability to conceptualize, scope, and manage a variety of drainage and flood related projects including master flood studies, master drainage studies, comprehensive watershed studies, bank stabilization, storm drainage remediation, hydraulic analysis of bridges, culverts, channels, flumes, energy dissipation analysis; dam break analysis a plus.\r\nCivil Water Resources Professional Engineer LeadResponsibilities:\r\nDeveloping project scope; supporting invoicing, budgeting, scheduling, managing, documenting.\r\nUsing ArcGIS and related tools to compile and individualize maps for each project.\r\nCollecting data through various databases for use in determining model parameters.\r\nHydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic and 2D modeling.\r\nWatershed mapping and inundation mapping.\r\nPreparing and presenting project findings to clients and other external groups, in support of project objectives and deliverables.\r\nPreparing reports and directing staff in preparing graphics for reports.\r\nPreparing submittals for permit applications; communication with agencies to address RFIs and clarifications.\r\nSupervising and training junior staff.\r\nCivil Water Resources Professional EngineerLeadQualifications:\r\nProfessional Registration: Texas PE or ability to obtain Texas registration within 12 months.\r\nProficient in HEC-RAS, ArcGIS Pro, and Audodesk XPSWMM (preferred).\r\nBS in Civil Engineering.
