From start to end, we can do develop amazing productions and solutions and see it all come together.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelopment of requirements and specifications for electrical and mechanical systems\nWork directly with Operations to improve processes, update work instructions, assembly drawings and travelers/routers\nDefine and maintain product bill of materials (BOM)\nCreate 2D cable drawings and interconnects\nCreate manufacturing work instructions\nProactively engage in continuous improvement activities for design, manufacturing, and production\nIdentify and lead manufacturing process and design improvements\nPerform design, development, and validation of mechanical parts and systems\nHands-on evaluation of mechanical parts, using a caliper, basic hand tools, etc.\nMaintain detailed change records via engineering change orders (ECOs)\nExemplify technical excellence and be accountable for your own work\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical)\n2+ years of experience as a manufacturing or design engineer\nAdept with MS Word, Excel (filters, formulas, short cuts etc.), and PowerPoint\nMust be detail oriented\nStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\nStrong written and verbal communication with an emphasis on interpersonal and organizational skills\nIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision\nWillingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nCircuit design (USB, PCIe, and Power)\nKnowledge and experience with electrical and electronic systems\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nPaid time off\nRetirement plan\nSchedule:\n8 hour shift\nMonday to Friday\nApplication Question(s):\nDo you have experience with creating shop travelers, work instructions and bill-of-materials (BOMs)?\nKnowledge of Excel - are you able to filter, know short cuts, create formulas and graphs?
