Manufacturing Facilities Manager
As the Facilities Manager for OSW Equipment, you supervise the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization, while driving cost reductions through preventive maintenance and equipment/process improvements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and maintenance/facilities department.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibilities
Train and direct maintenance technicians when required.
Inspect and perform maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
Ensure assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
Maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
Conduct all governmental required testing of facility systems.
Utilize and maintain preventive maintenance programs and provide feedback on the avoidance of malfunctions in equipment.
Identify and repair malfunctions on production facility and equipment including (but not limited to) electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.
Maintain the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
Prepare equipment and facility maintenance progress or status reports.
Provide recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
Manage construction activities.
Conduct employee training programs.
Purchase materials, equipment, or other resources.
Oversee the planning, scheduling and prioritization of maintenance activities.
Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on a timely basis.
Participate in requisition of maintenance parts and supplies, providing recommendations for appropriate materials.
Work closely with production and management to identify and improve equipment and production processes/flow through process improvement activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.
Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
Strong mechanical problem‑solving skills.
Works well independently and with others.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to self‑motivate while working in a fast‑paced and stressful environment.
Education and Experience
Experience managing the company’s type of facilities, equipment, and events preferred.
3+ years of related work experience and training, or a combination of higher education and experience.
Lean / Six Sigma methodology experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
Additional Job Information
Wage Expectations: $85,000 – 100,000 annually
Pay: This is a exempt, salaried position and employees are paid on a bi‑weekly basis.
Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M‑Th
Location: On Site – 20812 Broadway Ave; Snohomish, WA 98296
Travel: Very minimal to none
