This position ensures that all hardware, software, and documentation changes are properly recorded, reviewed, and approved in accordance with Navy configuration management (CM) policies and procedures. The analyst collaborates with engineering, logistics, and cybersecurity teams to maintain configuration integrity throughout the system lifecycle, supporting audits, installations, and technical reviews.\n\nLocation:San Diego, CA | Norfolk, VA | Charleston, SC | Pearl Harbor, HI | Panama City, FL\nClearance:Secret (eligible for TS/SCI)\nResponsibilities\nEstablish, manage, and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, software, and documentation across multiple PMW 790 systems.\nTrack Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), deviations, and waivers, ensuring proper review, approval, and traceability.\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and version-control records.\nReview and reconcile Bills of Material (BOMs), As-Built documentation, and technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.\nMaintain and update configuration status and accounting systems, ensuring current data is available for audits and reporting.\nParticipate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and provide CM documentation for change-review activities.\nCoordinate with Platform Management, Logistics, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between documentation, equipment, and software builds.\nAssist in developing and enforcing configuration-control policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and templates.\nSupport quality-assurance checks for configuration data, system versioning, and integration consistency.\nPrepare reports and metrics summarizing CM activities, discrepancies, and audit outcomes, leveraging JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent configuration-accounting systems for traceability.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience with DoD CM standards and tools\nKnowledge of JIRA/Confluence tools.\nExperience supporting configuration-control and baseline management activities within NAVWAR, PEO C4I, or SPAWAR programs preferred.\nFamiliarity with SOVT and baseline documentation processes.\n5+ years of CM experience.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team; ready for occasional travel or onsite support as required.\nProven problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication skills: able to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nIMRI offers top-tier benefits that include: medical coverage through nationally recognized carriers, ancillary coverages, paid vacation and sick leave in compliance with all state and local laws, 401(k) with company match, company paid life insurance and LTD, and several additional voluntary coverages.\n\nPay will be commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings to the position.\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nIMRI is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
