Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.\n\nResponsibilities\nOur client is seeking a skilled Security Specialist to support IT system security assessment and authorization, as well as Zero Trust initiatives. As a Security Analyst, you will engage with IT programs to prepare security documentation and enhance the Zero Trust maturity of mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure that technical implementations meet mission expectations and comply with cybersecurity requirements.\nInterpret business needs and project requirements related to IT system security\nPrepare and maintain security body of evidence artifacts, including system Concept of Operations, System Security Plans, FIPS 199 Worksheets, and more\nWork with the Cybersecurity and Policy & Governance teams to ensure compliance with oversight responsibilities\nCollaborate with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver security solutions for specific use cases\nImprove the Zero Trust maturity of IT systems by assessing and recommending security enhancements\nPerform non-technical analyses on project issues to ensure technical implementations align with mission expectations\nPartner with government product owners and development teams to support system development for the client\nDevelop and maintain security documentation and artifacts\nRequirements\n2+ years of demonstrated cybersecurity experience\nSolid understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements\nWorking knowledge of Body of Evidence artifacts, including system Concept of Operations, System Security Plans, FIPS 199 Worksheets, and more\nExperience working on improving Zero Trust maturity of IT systems\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and team members\nProficient organizational skills and comfort with daily client engagement\nPreferred Requirements\nMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field\nFamiliarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and the intelligence cycle\nFamiliarity with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)\nExperience providing security support in an Agile environment\nExperience with systems engineering functions, including operations concept development, system and product design, and technical risk management\nKnowledge of requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and Agile Manager\nEducation/Certification Requirements\nA Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, a technical field, or a related degree program from an accredited institution is required\nActive Cybersecurity IAT Level 2 or IAM Level 3 certifications\nClearance Requirements\nApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI is required.
