We provide unparalleled capabilities with our lab analysis, sample management and storage services, informatics software, and consumables, with the largest installed base managing over 1 billion samples globally.How You’ll Add Value Support the designated Sales Executives/Representatives/Managers in their efforts to grow the business.What You’ll Do Create sales strategy with the support of manager for territoryConduct marketing and sales independently in academic and small biotech accountsConduct vendor shows, lunch and learns in academic and small biotech accounts upon requestGenerate qualified leads through proactive outbound prospectingFollow up with new customers and reply to basic incoming price inquiriesSupport field reps from the office including; retrieving data from internal systems such as customer relationship management system (CRM/Salesforce) and project data bases (CLIMS)Prepare reports as needed for territory and account managementLead generation and data entry into CRMWork on a career track to become a sales or marketing professionalQualify marketing leads from trade shows, events and campaignsWhat You Will Bring Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences1-1.5 years of relevant Genomics or Synthetic Biology experience in a commercial role with a proven track record of success in account management, exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.Related experience recommendedBackground in Molecular BiologyPrevious sales experience preferredCRM experience preferredExcellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal are essentialAbility to speak in public and interact with customers with confidence and easeAlthough this role is not field based, the candidate should be willing and able to travel 3-5 days per month.EOE M/F/Disabled/VETIf any applicant is unable to complete an application or respond to a job opening because of a disability, please email at Recruiting@azenta.com for assistance. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
