The Solutions Architect will also play a key role in Business Process Reviews, Customer Roadmaps, Solution Design and software modifications.\n\nIn this a collaborative, customer-facing role where you will lead discovery, analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions that maximize the capabilities of McLeod Software products. You will also work closely with customers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and subject matter experts throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nLead customer consultations to define requirements, scope modifications, and develop functional designs for custom solutions.\nLead customer-facing activities for Business Process Reviews, including onsite interviews, discovery sessions, process analysis, and presentation of findings and recommendations.\nLead key Roadmap engagements, assist with training, identify product gaps and integration requirements, present recommendations to customer executives.\nEnsure user stories and test cases clearly define requirements and user acceptance criteria for software modifications.\nCollaborate with Development, Business Analyst and QA to design, test, and deliver scalable, high-quality customer solutions.\nReview porting lists and provide estimates to support customer upgrades.\nCreate process maps to document current-state, future-state, and integration workflows.\nLeverage McLeod products and internal subject matter experts to maximize standard functionality and minimize customization.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nBachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a technical or software-focused Business Analyst role.\nExperience reviewing porting lists and project-driven software modifications.\nExperience working with APIs, EDI, ETL processes, or system-to-system interfaces.\nExperience evaluating configuration-based solutions\nAbility to interpret technical outputs, including system logs and error messages\nFamiliarity with database concepts and structured data formats such as JSON and XML.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong documentation, organization, and record-keeping skills.\nAvailability for occasional out of state travel to customer locations is required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with software implementations, systems analysis, and technical consulting.\nExperience supporting complex customer workflows and leading functional or technical discovery.\nExperience troubleshooting system behavior and designing configuration-based solutions.\nWorking knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.\nMcLeod Software products experience (LoadMaster, DocumentPower, PowerBroker)\nProcess-mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.\nIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.\n\nWhy McLeod?\n\nAt McLeod Software, we believe that our employees are our greatest competitive advantage.
