Ideal candidate needs to be available for:\nMonday-Friday, 4/30 - 5/3, 9am-3:30pm\nTo ensure success as a Minds in Motions instructor, you should be able to encourage social and intellectual growth within children and possess a strategic mindset. Ultimately, a top-notch instructor should be a friendly and approachable individual with a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills.\nMinds in Motion Instructor Responsibilities:\nReceiving shipped supplies and transporting them to said location.\nPlanning, preparing, and implementing learning materials and supplies, with a curriculum that is provided for project-based learning.\nOverseeing lesson plans and conducting hands on activities that focus on developing children's STEM knowledge and skills.\nInteracting with children to provide guidance, emotional support, and motivation to complete tasks.\nMaintaining an organized and clean classroom environment and ensuring students conduct themselves appropriately.\nEnsuring that all school rules, policies, and guidelines are adhered to in the classroom.\nReturning remaining supplies to the company as instructed.\nMinds in Motion Instructor Requirements:\nA bachelor's degree or pursuing one in teaching, elementary education, special education, early childhood education, or a similar field preferable.\nA minimum of 1 year experience working as a teacher, teaching assistant, or a similar role.\nThe ability to foster a fun and safe environment conducive to learning.\nClassroom management skills and strong knowledge of child behavior and learning patterns.\nAbility to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nInstructional strategies and the ability to set rules and guidelines for children to follow.\nSolid organizational skills and ability to maintain a tidy and neat classroom.\nPrograms are fun and easy, and you will be fully trained!
