This position is responsible for setting up and operating manual machining equipment to manufacture and repair precision components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience operating manual lathes and mills, enjoys precision machining, and takes pride in producing high-quality parts. Experience with *Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs)* and *ACME threading* is a plus but not required. *Required Experience & Skills* * Proven experience as a Manual Machinist * Ability to set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications * Strong understanding of machining practices and precision measurement * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong attention to detail *Essential Duties & Responsibilities* * Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate and repair precision components * Machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications * Operate *Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs)* when applicable * Perform ACME threading when required _(experience preferred but not required)_ * Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met * Maintain machining equipment and report maintenance concerns as needed * Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe * Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures * Assist with additional machining and production duties as assigned *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience operating Vertical Turret Lathes (VTLs) * Experience performing ACME threading * Previous job shop or custom machining experience * Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators *Physical Requirements* * Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift * Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed * Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive use of hands and arms * Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE *Work Environment* * Precision machine shop in Broken Arrow * Fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality and craftsmanship * Team-oriented workplace with opportunities for long-term employment * Overtime and occasional weekend work based on production demands *Why You'll Want This Opportunity* * Competitive pay based on experience * Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity * Opportunity to work with a variety of manual machining equipment * Growing machine shop with opportunities to expand your skills * Supportive team environment focused on quality and craftsmanship *Ready to Apply?* Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text *918-582-0522* for more information.
