Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for accounting software solutions such as QuickBooks and other ERP systems. This role focuses on client acquisition, solution selling, and building long-term partnerships across various industries.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities for accounting systems and ERP solutionsDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targetsConduct product presentations, demos, and client meetingsClient Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makersUnderstand client business processes and recommend suitable ERP/accounting solutionsEnsure high client satisfaction and retentionSolution SellingAnalyze client requirements and propose tailored solutions using platforms like QuickBooks or other ERP systemsCollaborate with technical/implementation teams for customized solutionsPrepare proposals, quotations, and contractsMarket Research & StrategyMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developmentsIdentify target markets and sectors for expansionProvide insights to improve product positioning and sales strategyPipeline & ReportingMaintain accurate sales pipeline and forecastsTrack performance against KPIs and revenue targetsProvide regular reports to managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT, or related fieldProven experience in business development, sales, or account managementExperience selling accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantageStrong understanding of accounting processes and business operationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong sales, negotiation, and closing skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to understand technical solutions and translate them into business valueRelationship-building and stakeholder managementResults-driven and target-orientedKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Revenue growth / sales target achievementNumber of new clients acquiredConversion rate (leads to closed deals)Client retention and satisfactionSales pipeline value and accuracyWork SetupField and office-based (client meetings and presentations)May require travel for client engagements#J-18808-Ljbffr
