Come join our team!\r\nWe are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer. This role is based in the UK. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the UK at the time of hire. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.\r\nWhat you will do in the position: Software Development Plans, designs, implements, and tests products of low to medium complexity with daily to weekly supervision.\r\nDemonstrates ownership of limited areas of the intercom system software architecture.\r\nDocuments design from high-level block diagram down to specific implementation decisions.\r\nValidates design specifications, develops test equipment as necessary, and works with QA to develop test procedure.\r\nTransfers standards, test specifications, verification methodologies, test harnesses and test reports created during design verification to Quality Assurance for regression.\r\nDevelops and maintains engineering work products in accordance with the established product development process and the applicable project standards and methodologies.\r\nParticipates in Development Process Improvement activities and leads and participates in Design and Code Reviews, both formal and agile forms (pairing, etc.).\r\nSupport Assists in maintaining the computer and lab infrastructure as required.\r\nMaintains market awareness for Clear-Com and HME products. Knows key competitors, key product features and applications.\r\nMaintains and increase know-how of current development technologies.\r\nWhat you will need to succeed: Qualifications Experienced with object-oriented analysis and design. Also familiar with structured, functional decomposition design methodologies.\r\nKnowledge in C/C++ coding based applications, and/or other high-level languages.\r\nKnowledge in design of automation script languages.\r\nProficient in communication and writing skills with the ability to design in a group setting.\r\nKnowledge in debugging software on either PC host platforms or embedded hardware using debuggers, emulators, etc.\r\nProficient in touch-typing and in use of word processors, spreadsheets and databases.\r\nFamiliar with design of network applications.\r\nAbility to reason and solve problems related to this position.\r\nEducation Technical School or Certificate - Required\r\nBA or BS (college graduate) - Preferred\r\nTravel: Occasional, as required.\r\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
