The Production team owns everything from CNC machining and SMT to tool assembly and system integration, and we're scaling the number of concurrent builds, work centers, and staff significantly in 2026.About The RoleWe're looking for a Material Handler to own materials management for our San Francisco production team. You'll be the single point of accountability for making sure physical materials are received, inspected, organized, and available when our engineering and production teams need them.ResponsibilitiesReceive inbound shipments and inspect against purchase orders for accuracy, quantity, and conditionStock and organize materials in our warehouse and stockroomMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, location management, and discrepancy resolutionSupport kitting and material staging for production and engineering buildsMaintain a clean, organized, and logically structured stockroomWork within our MRP/inventory systems to keep records currentCoordinate with the Buyer/Planner and Production Coordinator on material availability and issuesRequired ExperiencePrior experience in a warehouse, stockroom, materials handling, or logistics environmentStrong attention to detail — particularly matching physical goods to documentationComfortable with physical work including lifting, standing, and moving materials throughout the dayBasic computer skills for inventory system data entryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesNice-to-haveExperience with MRP or ERP systemsBackground in hardware, manufacturing, or R&D environmentsFamiliarity with incoming goods inspection processesForklift certification or material handling equipment experienceWorking at Atomic SemiWe’re an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding, world-class advisors, and a lab/office in San Francisco, CA.Compensation: Atomic Semi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $31/hr – $35/hr Compensation is determined based on your qualifications and experience.
