Now Hiring - Driver The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY is hiring a driver to provide transportation services to day program participants and maintain assigned vehicles. Driver Responsibilities: Provides safe transportation to individuals receiving services to and from various programs at The Arc Wayne. Completes daily vehicle inspection checklist. Records accurate mileage and codes as they pertain to the use of Agency vehicles. Informs the Transportation Coordinator of needed vehicle repairs, preventative maintenance, state inspection, etc. Monitors behaviors of persons receiving services during transport and communicates to the Transportation Coordinator any issues that require follow-up or management intervention. Immediately reports to the Transportation Coordinator any incident(s) that occur on the vehicle. Ensures that agency vehicles are utilized for business purposes only. Transports goods to and from designated locations(s) as required Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards.
