Kansas City, MO (4days/week in office)\nFull Time: Base + Annual Bonus + Benefits\nJob Functions:\nGain expertise in current Database Schema and domain data flows end to end from front end to Batch Processing\nWork with the Software Engineering team to design new database objects (Stored procedures, functions, views, and tables)\nAssist the Database Administrators and Development teams in writing complex SQL code and troubleshooting support incidents\nAssist with the creation and maintenance of documentation of database systems\nPerform code reviews on code submitted by the development teams\nProactively locate areas where there is an opportunity for performance improvement in our existing systems.\nWork on highly complex projects with minimal supervision and proactively raise issues/concerns to management as needed\nProvide 2nd and 3rd tier support of database systems as needed\nParticipate in on-call rotation as needed\nRequired Experience:\n5+ years’ experience with database development using SQL Server\nExpert knowledge of ANSI Standard Transact-SQL and latest Transact-SQL query language enhancements.\nStrong experience maintaining enterprise-level databases including optimization, indexing, troubleshooting performance issues, and tuning\nExperience with delivering and supporting large, high-performance databases across multiple SQL Instances\nExperience using query store and DMVs to identify issues and performance tuning opportunities\nSQL Server SQL Agent and other Automation tools\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExperience with automated deploys and version control of SQL objects using SSDT.\nExperience In the Following Areas Is a Plus\nExperience deploying and maintaining SQL databases in Azure\nBachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or similar field of study\nExperience working with databases in Azure in a PaaS and/or IaaS environment.\nExperience working with GIT version control systems and ADO.\nExperience working with performance monitoring tools such as SolarWinds DPA and SQLSentry products\nExperience developing and supporting SSRS and/or PowerBI reports.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $100,000.00 -
