We believe in creative thinking and collaboration to help build a better mobility experience for everyone, improving people’s ability to move – whether for work or play.\n\nWhat we do:\nThe Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for manufacturing tooling, industrial engineering, and planning, specifically targeting the fabrication of prototypes and low‑quantity production. The role will be accountable for the creation of a multitude of standardized processes and procedures within these subject areas while collaborating with the design teams throughout the conceptual, preliminary, and detail designs. The role will be heavily involved in the building of prototype and flight energy‑storage systems, as well as supporting the development and transitioning of manufacturing technologies necessary in achieving long‑term production goals. This role will be responsible for the creation of standardized processes and procedures.\n\nThis position will be required to work on‑site 5 days a week.\n\nWhat you can do:\n\nCollect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement\n\nDevelop data dashboards and conduct data‑driven investigations to provide oversight of production operations\n\nDrive continuous improvement within production to reduce assembly, inspection, and testing time\n\nProvide technical training and support to production personnel on new processes, equipment, and technologies\n\nEvaluate designs using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles and develop testing methods to assess quality and functionality\n\nOversee and manage external suppliers and contract manufacturers, ensuring cohesive processes\n\nCreate and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and any other relevant documentation surrounding the production operations\n\nCollaborate with all engineering disciplines to ensure design for manufacturing principles are properly utilized\n\nMay require up to 10% of domestic and international travel\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWhat you can contribute:\n\nBachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related field required; Master of Science preferred\n\nMinimum five (5) years of experience in engineering (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)\n\nExperience with project management\n\nExperience with prototyping\n\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting process data\n\nProficiency in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles\n\nAbility to develop testing methods to assess quality and functionality\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nProactive delivery of communication and follow upExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nMust have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints\n\nProficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite\n\nYou may also be able to contribute:\n\nExperience in aviation, automotive, and the mobility space with UAS or UAM preferred\n\nExperience in aircraft or automotive production environments preferred\n\nExperience in data dashboards development, experience with Power BI and JIRA preferred\n\nLEAN/Six Sigma experience and qualifications preferred\n\nAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
