Stefanini Group is hiring for Manufacturing Technician in Medina, NY for a Medical device Client!Job Details:Looking to hire a candidate for the Assembly Technician role focused on infusion pumps and medical equipment.The interviews will take place onsite (in-person)If candidates have hands-on experience working with infusion pumps and other medical equipment will be great.Experience in small part assembly is essential.Familiarity with basic computer operations is also required.Ideally, candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in part assembly and troubleshooting. If candidates do not have direct manufacturing experience, they should at least come from a background involving parts assembly.The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM EST. Candidates must be able to commit to these hours.This is an Onsite role so, important for candidates to have an easy and reliable commute to the workplace.Strong proficiency in English is required. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.All selected candidates will receive training to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles. This training will cover necessary operational protocols and the specifics of working with infusion pumps and related medical equipment.No Bachelor’s required. GED or High School diploma is fine to proceed.Work Hours: Mon -Thur (40 hours)Work Location: Medina, NYShift: 1st Shift (5:30 AM to 4:00 PM) Mandatory OT on Fridays occasionallySummary:An environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.Essential Functions:Follows procedures and performs the various steps contained within the procedure in order to return the pump to its original state and to assure a quality end product.Troubleshooting various components of the pump.Able to work with various hand toolsPerform limited technical aspects of the repair, production and/or restock processComplete all documentation needed for quality complianceQualifications:Must be able to identify small electronic components and be able to differentiate using their markings.Ability to handle stressful production demands, demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.Read and follow written work instructions with deviation. Manipulate small piece parts with both hands and assemble or disassemble a medical device using small hand tools.Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision, including required documentation needed for compliance.Good Judgment, positive attitude and a high level of initiativeWillingness and ability to learn production/repair assembly procedures and drawings.Basic computer skillsAbility to work in fast-paced work environment to meet daily targetsAbility to manually perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to transcribe data accuratelyAbility to read and write English proficientlyAbility to visually inspect and identify particulate/foreign matter and distinguish between colors as required by FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices.Education/Experience:High School diploma or GEDPreferred experience in mechanical or electrical repair in a Manufacturing settingPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
