Plan maintenance/capital budgets through the identification of plant opportunities. Ensure project standards and guidelines are applied and adhered to as established. Focus on productivity improvements to attain cost optimization. Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained and documented. Develop and implement improved maintenance processes aimed at optimizing the overall productivity of the plant. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure implementation and progress of goals. Drive a culture of change from reactive to proactive in the approach to asset management and reliability. Support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives and awareness programs.\n\nEnsure employees have a clear understanding of expected safety performance.\n\nBe a leader and promoter of a safety culture\n\nResponsible for the facilities’ Safe Food initiative based on FSMA and current good manufacturing practices\n\nPerform Other Duties as Assigned.\nATTRIBUTES:\n\nStrong knowledge of electrical power infrastructure and process control systems\n\nDemonstrated management and financial leadership experience\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong presentation and public speaking skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meeting all required deadlines.\n\nStrong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.\n\nGood understanding of safety, environmental, and the desire to following all established procedures are required.\n\nForward looking action-oriented team player that works well with cross functional groups\n\nDisplays sound judgment when deciding among multiple alternatives\n\nAbility to multi-task, with excellent organizational and communication skills, proven problem-solving skills and can think “outside the box”\n\nMust be capable of work any shift, overtime, seven days, or holidays, if needed. Solid daily attendance is required.\n\nMust have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint software. Previous SAP knowledge is a plus.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:\n\nMust be physically able to perform work assigned.\n\nMust be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.\n\nTolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.\n\nAccess all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.\n\nWill be working in an office environment, mining, and mineral processing environment.\n\nThe employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.\n\nThe employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.\n\nAble to lift up to 50 pounds.\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance Engineering, or a technical-related field or demonstrated skills and ability and/or equivalent work experience in the field is desired.\n\nPREFFERED EDUCATION:\n\n1 - 3 BS Degree in Engineering or a relevant / related field; with strong electrical, PLC control, and Mechanical Maintenance background. Master’s degree is a plus.\n\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:\n\nMust have 1-3 Must have at least five to seven years of previous proven hands‑on maintenance leadership experience in a fast‑paced heavy manufacturing, construction, and/or mining environment. Previous electrical or mechanical experience is required.
