Senior Data Engineer #2397Position Summary:Our partner, an innovative leader in financial services known for developing forward-thinking solutions to improve financial lives, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. As Senior Engineer, you will drive data engineering efforts to deliver enterprise-wide solutions. This includes leading tasks related to data integration, cleaning, transformation, and control in both operational and analytical systems. Additionally, you will develop and implement a range of analytics and automation solutions that will transform the way credit score is analyzed, from data extraction and reporting to advanced analytics such as statistical analysis, text mining, NLP, and AI modeling. You will collaborate closely with audit, credit, data, and technology professionals.Experience and Education:BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics or related experience/field5+ years of experience with data management, data management tools and data qualityAdvance skills in Microsoft ExcelAdvanced knowledge with SQL, Python, Tableau or similar toolsSkilled in implementing automated solutions, including the ability to extract, organize, and present the data in user-friendly reportsFamiliarity with different test suites such as integration, regression, or performance (a plus)Experience with any of the following: Model Development, NLP, Text Mining, ML/AI, Data Science (a plus)Experience with any of the following: DataRobot, Instabase, and UIPath (a plus)Skills and Strengths:Data EngineeringData ArchitectureData ExtractionData ModelingData AnalysisData PipelinesData GovernanceData Quality ManagementMicrosoft ExcelSQLSQL QueriesPython or similar (R, JavaScript, Java, others) Data Visualization tools as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, othersData automated solutions implementationStatistical AnalysisRisk ManagementFinancial ManagementSolution Delivery ProcessConcept TestingProject ManagementMentorshipPrimary Job Responsibilities:Be able to assemble, maintain, and improve large, complex data sets that ensures a consistency across systems.Manage and optimize large data sets, including data transformation, data structures, and quality controls to improve the information requires for deployment and business functionality.Collaborate with development teams to understand data requirements and ensure the implementation of a feasible data architecture.Coach junior team members in execution of analytics and automation activities.Build data pipelines that follow release processes and risk management routines to support data-driven decisions.Collaborate with testing engineers to enhance test suites and identify and resolve underlying issues.Lead gap analysis in data management standards, collaborates to develop solutions, and prototypes tools to enhance processes.Define key performance indicators and internal controls to be monitored during a CI/CD delivery.Develop automated solutions related to data & analytics, this could vary from the ability to extract data, organize information or creating user-friendly reports.Coordinate, schedule, scope, and lead large, cross-functional analytics & automation activities.Stay up to date on new analytics, automated testing tools and analytical/data models.
