Unlike other exchange programs, American Discovery specializes in short summer homestays for French and Spanish teenagers and concentrates on providing exceptional, hands-on program support to all participants.\nJOB DETAILS INCLUDE\n- generating potential host family leads\n- completing home visits to determine a good fit for all parties\n- preparing program itineraries and making reservations\n- fully managing assigned program(s)\n- meeting and accompanying students upon arrival\n- attending and organizing program parties and day-trips (depending on program type)\n- resolving problems in a timely manner\n- acting as a liaison between host families and our local office\nOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE\ndriven and self-motivated\noutgoing and dynamic\npassionate about cultural exchange\nenjoys being involved with the community\nis an excellent communicator, organized, and punctual\nHOURS/COMPENSATION\nProgram Coordinators work as Independent Contractors and receive financial compensation for placements as well as payment for supervision of the group.
