{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"11f5f0ff342f31cc286f8381","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/11f5f0ff342f31cc286f8381","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/11f5f0ff342f31cc286f8381","title":"Mixing Operator, 3rd shift","description":"Job Title:\nMixing Operator, 3rd shift\n\nSummary:\nTo safely and efficiently perform Mixing/Milling operations utilizing multiple mechanical equipment to pre-form high consistency silicone rubber to desired customer specifications.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\n\nEnsure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.\n\nRead batch cards/electronic devices for directions, such as proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of extrusion, and any other additional instructions.\n\nOperate (safely) multiple Mixers/Mills and related equipment.\n\nUpdate and maintain production records on batches extruded.\n\nMaintain work area in a clean and orderly manner, especially during shift transition.\n\nLearn and understand basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in extrusion, packaging, and finishing.\n\nReceive and relay vital communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.\n\nCarry out any other tasks as assigned.\n\nStarting pay for this position is $24.55 + $2 shift premium with increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.\n\nQualifications:\n\nThe following are required for the role\n\nThe following are minimum qualifications for this role:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\nAble to read and follow production instructions.\n\nPerform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.\n\nDemonstrated basic writing skills necessary to complete daily production records.\n\nDemonstrated basic verbal communication skills necessary to transfer or interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments.\n\nMust be able to read, understand, and speak English.\n\nAble to work independently and multi-task.\n\nMust be able to pass pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) and a criminal background.\n\nThe following are preferred for this role:\n\n1-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting\n\nTablet and PDF work experience a plus\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nThe base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
