The GM is onsite and reports to the Regional VP. The GM is responsible for all aspects of the business at this location. Minimum 5 years fleet management/maintenance leadership experience required.\nTransdev is proud to offer:\nCompetitive salary of $90,000 - 110,000 based on experience.\n*$5,000 Sign-On Bonus*\nAttractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision\nPaid time off & vacation\nResponsibilities\nHandles all contractual services to include administrative functions, information systems, parts purchasing, and inventory control.\nEnsures compliance of all company procedures and policies to include First Quality Management (FQM) requirements.\nEnsures services are provided within budget and action plans developed and implemented to improve operational efficiencies.\nMaintains company and contractual assets (vehicles, facilities, inventories, tools, and equipment).\nEnsures compliance of local, state, and federal laws and regulation (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA, and EEOC).\nAnalyzes, prepares, and develops budgets and forecasts.\nNegotiates operating budgets and contractual terms with customers.\nAssesses resource needs, problems, and trends and plans accordingly.\nDevelops action plans to ensure customer retention.\nAssures a safe working environment.\nProvides and promotes effective communications with customers.\nProvides leadership and guidance to develop location and company initiatives.\nEstablishes training goals and requirements for all personnel.\nSatisfies client, corporate, and contractual reporting requirements and needs.\nAssists in technical sales support and develops sales leads.\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years Transit fleet management/maintenance leadership experience.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field strongly preferred.\nValid driver’s license\nComputer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.\nMust have evidence of building solid relationships with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.\nExcellent communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to build and continuously motivate highly effective teams.\nSuccessful track record in managing budgets and/or P&L responsibility.\nAbility to interface with using agencies, directors, elected officials, operators, and all levels of hourly and salaried employees, including senior management.\nMust be a self-starter able to obtain successful results without supervision.\nIncumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.\nTransit Bus experience is a must.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
