Program Manager (M&A Integration)Location: Novi, MI (Hybrid)Duration: 6–9 Month ContractSchedule: In-office Monday–Thursday, Remote FridayPay Rate: $65–$75/hourOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience to lead and coordinate multiple interrelated projects supporting strategic business initiatives. This role will play a key part in planning, executing, and managing integration activities associated with acquisitions while ensuring alignment across business functions, stakeholders, and project teams.The ideal candidate has a strong background managing enterprise-wide programs, driving cross-functional collaboration, overseeing program financials, and successfully leading complex M&A integration efforts.Required Qualifications7–9 years of Program Management, Project Management, or related experienceDemonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration initiativesExperience managing multiple interconnected projects across an enterprise environmentStrong understanding of program governance, project methodologies, and business process improvementProven ability to lead cross-functional and matrixed teamsExperience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communicationsPreferred CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP)Program Management Professional (PgMP)Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise programs and strategic initiatives, including M&A integration projectsDevelop and execute comprehensive program management plans, governance structures, and integration roadmapsCoordinate activities across business units to ensure successful acquisition integration and achievement of business objectivesDefine project and program objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metricsManage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk across multiple initiativesConduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI, net present value (NPV), and cost variance reportingDrive business process improvement and process re-engineering initiatives to support organizational goalsDevelop communication plans and provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholdersCoordinate staffing and resource planning across multiple project teamsIdentify, assess, and mitigate program and project risksMonitor project quality metrics and implement corrective actions as neededSupport procurement strategy development and contract management activitiesFacilitate alignment among business, operational, and technical teams throughout integration effortsDevelop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans where applicableProvide program management leadership and consulting to stakeholders across the organizationDesired SkillsExperience leading M&A integrations, business transformations, or enterprise change initiativesStrong analytical and financial management capabilitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence and drive alignment across diverse business groupsStrong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skillsExperience working within formal Project Management Methodology (PMM) frameworks
