In this role the Manager will report to the Director of Institutional Advancement and provide general support to the Development office.\nThe position will require two days of work per week with each day consisting of 7 hours on the job. The position will pay $40 per hour. The position will report directly to the Director of Institutional Advancement.\nTrack donor performance and explore new strategies to maximize revenue.\nOversee all functions of Bloomerang and Raiser’s Edge database management including data and gift entry, volunteer management, clean up and reporting.\nAssist with all major gifts efforts by developing, maintaining, and updating information on new and existing donor prospects as well as producing donor and prospect profiles.\nRoutinely examine and clean current data records to ensure data accuracy to eliminate duplicate records, inconsistent data, to maintain overall database integrity and the accuracy of data imported and committed in the database.\nProcess contributions received through all giving mechanisms and disseminate information to Development and Finance staff.\nCreate and manage department dashboard for analysis, tracking metrics, fundraising and financial reporting.\nIdentify data that is to be captured and recorded in Raisers Edge and assist the Director of Institutional Advancement in determining the best structure.\nInteracts with all necessary departments/divisions (particularly Finance) to analyze and gather report requirements for generating criteria and output.\nAssess the organization's current database utilization and develop more effective policies and procedures.\nDevelop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of the database.\nDevelop and maintain standard queries and reports.\nPerform prospect research requests and documentation.\nPerform other duties as needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Communications or related field of study.\nExperience using software programs for purposes of recording and tracking donations\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (including 365) and Google products preferred and demonstrated ability to perform mail-merge functions.\nAbility to manage confidential information, multiple priorities and competing deadlines plus maintain an attention to detail.\nProven experience utilizing analytical and strong problem-solving skills.\nStrong ability and commitment to accuracy and database integrity.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and exercise independent action\nDemonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment and collaborate across department\nDevon Prep’s approach to education is based on the traditions of the Piarist Fathers who are dedicated to the education of youth.
