We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to join our billing department in McKinney, TX.This role is essential in supporting business operations through timely insurance verifications and accurate account monitoring. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and are passionate about providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesVerify insurance benefits and accurately document patient financial responsibility in the EMR systemEnsure completeness and accuracy of all insurance data prior to client intakeTrack and document payer-specific requirements and communicate updates to the teamCoordinate with intake and billing departments on demographic and insurance issuesRespond to incoming calls professionally and assist with insurance-related inquiriesProvide ongoing support to the billing department as neededComplete and report on all VOB (Verification of Benefits) requests dailyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelFamiliarity with in-network payers and related toolsExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindsetScheduleMonday to FridayFull-Time, In-PersonCompensation & BenefitsPay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits Include:401(k) with employer matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offApply now to join a mission-driven organization that is committed to healing the world—one client at a time.Please visit our careers page to see more job opportunities.
