As part of the Global Network Delivery team, you will have the opportunity to join a team that partners across the global AWS Infrastructure organization to shape the future of the AWS profile and tempo to which we deliver.\n\nThe Global Network Delivery Vendor Management team is seeking a highly-skilled & driven Program Manager who will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data-informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing global Infrastructure projects/programs; developing, monitoring, and reporting project/program health metrics; depth of knowledge in supply chain; experience with external suppliers; and driving improvement. As a Program Manager within this team focused on fiber cable sourcing, you will be responsible for organizing and managing continuous improvement and process initiatives and play a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes.\n\nKey job responsibilities\nThe primary responsibilities from the Program Manager include, but are not limited to, the following: - Lead planning, execution, and delivery tasks of multiple project/programs simultaneously.\nDetermine process health metrics and key performance indicators and develop data visualization reports illustrating process health.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities and gather user requirements with key customers.\nDevelop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.\nDevelop standard operating procedures, change/communication plans, and project/program-level status updates.\nDrive adoption with internal customers through effective change management.\nAnticipate potential issues and risks, and escalate appropriately and in a timely manner.\nRemain flexible to changing priorities and open to new ideas.\nKeep the customer experience as the primary focus.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\n\n- 3+ years of program or project management experience\n- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience\n- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL\n- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements\n- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience\n- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience\n- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization\n- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules\n\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
