Student advising sessions may include educating students on the basics of undergraduate research at VCU; exploring mentors related to students’ interest areas; and guiding students through the process of preparing to engage with faculty research mentors.\n\nAdvise and support SLTAs interested in becoming Advanced SLTAs and Ambassadors to include educating on the SLTA journey and progression, project identification, and management.\n\nAdvise students interested in exploring and engaging with other Transformative Learning opportunities, including VIPs, Service-Learning, and Academic Internships (as needed).\n\nProgramming & Outreach\n\nServe as a student-facing representative of Transformative Learning at program activities and outreach events.
