You will maintain, extend, and support systems already in use by customers.\r\nWork includes backend services, APIs, system integrations, and data-heavy workflows with direct production impact.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop and maintain backend services, APIs, and web applications\r\nWork within and extend existing production codebases\r\nBuild and support integrations with external transportation and logistics systems\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues in live environments\r\nWork with SQL databases, schemas, and existing data structures\r\nSupport document processing, imaging, and workflow automation systems\r\nImprove system reliability, performance, and maintainability\r\nParticipate in code reviews and implementation of engineering standards\r\nTranslate business requirements into working technical solutions\r\nQualifications\r\n4+ years software development experience in production environments\r\nStrong experience with C#, .NET, Java, or equivalent backend stack\r\nProven experience building and supporting REST APIs in production systems\r\nStrong SQL experience including querying, schema understanding, and troubleshooting data issues\r\nExperience working in and extending existing, complex codebases (not only greenfield work)\r\nDemonstrated ability to debug production issues and identify root cause quickly\r\nExperience working with system integrations and external APIs\r\nComfortable operating in environments with shifting priorities and real-world constraints\r\nStrong engineering fundamentals and practical problem-solving ability\r\nPreferred Experience\r\nEnterprise SaaS or logistics/transportation software systems\r\nMulti-system integrations and API ecosystem work\r\nDocument ingestion, OCR/IDP, or workflow automation systems\r\nCloud-hosted applications with production monitoring or support responsibility\r\nWork primarily in existing production systems with real customer usage\r\nBalance new feature development with maintenance and support work\r\nParticipate in on-call or after-hours support when required for production issues\r\nWrite code intended to be maintained and extended, not just delivered\r\nWhy EBE?\r\nFor more than 50 years, EBE Technologies has delivered innovative software solutions to the transportation industry.
