If you enjoy inspiring students and have a strong programming background, we'd love to hear from you!\nPosition\nPart-Time Coding Teacher\nSubjects:\nPython\nJava\nC++\nArtificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning experience is a strong plus.\nEmployment Period\nSeptember 2026 – May 2027\nSchedule\nFlexible Part-Time Hours\nWeekday evening classes\nWeekend classes (Saturday and/or Sunday)\nSchedules will be assigned based on teacher availability and class enrollment.\nResponsibilities\nTeach programming classes to elementary, middle, and high school students.\nPrepare engaging, hands-on coding lessons.\nHelp students develop strong programming, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nMonitor student progress and communicate with parents when needed.\nCreate a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.\nQualifications\nStrong programming experience in Python, Java, or C++.\nTeaching or tutoring experience is preferred.\nExperience working with children or teenagers is highly desirable.\nExcellent communication and classroom management skills.\nReliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about education.\nExperience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or competitive programming is highly desirable.\nCompensation\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.\nFlexible scheduling.\nOpportunity for additional teaching hours as enrollment grows.\nAbout Cheng Shi Education\nCheng Shi Education is a growing STEM education center in Syosset, NY, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators.
