This role serves as a key partner to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring seamless execution across departments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting team performance.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a broader leadership role—combining operational oversight, team leadership, and business accountability.\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and other guest-facing areas\nLead, coach, and support department managers and hourly team members to drive performance and engagement\nEnsure a consistently high level of guest experience and service standards\nMonitor and manage key operational metrics, including labor, productivity, and guest satisfaction scores\nSupport scheduling, staffing plans, and day-to-day operational needs across departments\nStep in as manager-on-duty as needed, handling escalations and ensuring smooth operations\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives\nDrive operational consistency, process improvement, and accountability across teams\nSupport hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to build a strong, high-performing team\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3–6+ years of hotel or hospitality operations experience\nPrior leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager, or Assistant Manager level)\nExperience overseeing multiple departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, or F&B preferred)\nFamiliarity with hotel systems (PMS, scheduling tools, etc.)\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills\nA strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment\nA hands-on leader who leads by example and builds trust with teams\nHighly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities\nComfortable managing both people and processes\nA clear communicator who can work across departments effectively\nPassionate about delivering great guest experiences\nBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and work on feet for extended periods.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.\nFlexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAbout Gravity Haus\nGravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
