Serve resort guests in a timely and courteous manner with strong people skills. Prepare and serve all drinks on the menu following standard recipes. Receive payment and provide correct change. Maintain cleanliness of the food and beverage preparation area. Operate all machines needed to prepare beverages. Perform other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY: Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities with staff. WORK SCHEDULE Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior barista experience preferred. Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Employees must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, injury, etc.); and possess the strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
