This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing existing applications, resolving production issues, migrating legacy technologies to modern platforms, and supporting the transition of critical business applications to Microsoft Azure.\nYou will work within an Agile environment and play a key role in transforming legacy Java applications into scalable, cloud-ready solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production and internally identified application defects.\nDevelop enhancements and implement bug fixes for enterprise applications.\nSupport modernization efforts by migrating legacy technologies to current frameworks and architectures.\nParticipate in infrastructure setup and migration activities supporting Azure Cloud adoption.\nCollaborate in Agile ceremonies, including story grooming and sprint planning.\nAssist in defining and refining acceptance criteria for development stories.\nContribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWork closely with business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of modernization objectives.\n\nCurrent Technology Stack\nApache Struts\nJava 8\nJSP\nJavaScript\nOracle 19c\nLinux\nGitLab\nApache Tomcat\nIBM WebSphere\nFuture Technology Stack\nAs modernization efforts progress, the environment is expected to evolve toward:\nSpring Boot\nAngular\nNoSQL Databases\nDevSecOps Tools and Practices\nMicrosoft Azure Cloud\n\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong experience developing Java-based enterprise applications.\nExperience supporting and troubleshooting production systems.\nKnowledge of Java 8, JSP, JavaScript, and web application development.\nExperience working with Oracle databases and Linux environments.\nFamiliarity with source control tools such as GitLab.\nUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Apache Struts modernization projects.\nExposure to Azure Cloud migration initiatives.\nExperience with Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks.\nFamiliarity with Angular and modern front-end technologies.\nKnowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with NoSQL database technologies.\n\n**Only shortlisted candidates are going to be contacted.**\n\nBenefits:\n\nPaid sick leave, Medical/Dental (optional), 401 (k) Retirement Plan (optional), Employer Paid Life Insurance, Employer Paid Short Term Disability, Optional Life Insurance.\n\nELYON International, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
