Job Summary:The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding Ronbow’s independent sales efforts, particularly in the direct-to-consumer space. This role is ideal for a sales leader with experience managing direct sales teams in consumer products, wealth management, or similar D2C industries. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing independent sales, and executing successful sales strategies in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement strategies to grow and scale the independent sales channels for Ronbow's cabinetry products.
Define sales goals and KPIs, regularly monitoring and adjusting strategies to meet or exceed these targets.
Identify opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth through independent sales and other direct sales avenues.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of independent sales.
Provide training and ongoing support to ensure the team meets individual and collective sales goals.
Recruit and onboard top talent to build a high-performing sales team.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
Direct Sales Operations:
Oversee day-to-day direct sales operations, ensuring efficient and streamlined processes for lead generation, sales conversion, and customer retention.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with product launches and promotional campaigns.
Set best practices for lead management, client relationship building, and closing strategies.
Customer and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with independent sales, customers, and key stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Regularly communicate with independent reps to provide guidance, feedback, and resources for success.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor sales performance, industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Analyze data and provide detailed sales performance reports to senior management, with actionable insights and recommendations.
Continuously adjust sales strategies to stay competitive and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the direct-to-consumer market.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience in direct sales
Proven experience leading successful direct sales teams in consumer products, wealth management, or similar direct-to-consumer industries.
Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience motivating and developing high-performing sales teams.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
Data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Proficiency with CRM systems and other sales tools to manage and optimize sales processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience scaling independent sales teams in a high-growth company.
Knowledge of direct-to-consumer sales models, particularly in the consumer product space.
Familiarity with cabinetry, home improvement, or related industries is a plus.
