As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists, project managers, CAD designers, and other staff to service our solid waste clients’ needs.\nThis role will establish client relationships, define client needs, develop winning strategies, prepare proposals, and manage the development, design and permitting of a wide range of projects related to solid waste management and environmental services. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, resourceful, well-organized, and a cooperative producer and manager that is able to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage and coordinate the development, design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.\nPrepare designs and permit applications to acquire approvals from regulatory bodies.\nMaintain complicated schedules, develop project timelines, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage people and materials to complete jobs on schedule and within budget guidelines.\nAct as the direct point of contact in communication with clients and stakeholders.\nAssess and mitigate project risks in advance of detailed engineering efforts.\nPrepare detailed models and technical documents to present project design/feasibility findings to stakeholders.\nAssist the ARM business development team, including the preparation of detailed technical proposals.\nPerform and/or check technical calculations and prepare project specifications.\nPrepare reports, client communications, deliverables, etc. and consult with other internal partners as needed.\nPro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature and develop effective solutions.\nMentor and grow junior staff.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.\nP.E. registration required.\n8+ years of experience in Solid Waste engineering to include facility design, permitting, operations support, and construction oversight projects including hands-on project management.\nExcellent communication and public speaking skills: articulate, assertive, and confident.\nStrong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects.\nCreative thinker with effective teamwork skills.\nExperience managing and mentoring junior staff.\nAmbitious and eager to grow.\nDetail-oriented and thorough.\nStrong work ethic and self-motivated mentality.\nMust have strong technical competency and analytical ability.\nMust be able to work independently and collaborate with peers when appropriate.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.\nExperience managing vendor and client payment terms to achieve positive cash flow.\nUnderstanding of financial models and budget management.\nReasonably proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other industry-specific software.\nPreferred Requirements:\nExperience in Landfill Gas system design inclusive of related mechanical systems (blowers and flares).\nYour Wellness, Our Priority: A Look at Our Benefits: We invest in our team's well-being and future through a comprehensive benefits package with a range of offerings designed to support you holistically.
