Duties include:\n\nSchedules and obtains history from patients.\nEvaluates the appropriateness of requested exams to assist radiologists.\nMaintains knowledge of equipment and instruments/supplies pertinent to high quality exams.\nProvides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.\nMay travel between SARMC and SAMC-Nampa.\nSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nRegistered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).\nColleague must have and maintain an active Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).\nColleague must obtain and maintain an active Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon.\nColleague must also obtain and maintain an active CT temporary 6-month Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) before and during CT cross training.\nTraining must be complete within 12 months as the temporary is only renewable once with the state of Oregon.\nBasic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.\nGOOD TO HAVE:\n\nPrevious Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital setting.\nOur Commitment\n\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
