This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in payments technology and mobility solutions, providing hands-on experience and the chance to grow their career.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nPayments System Development:\nAssist in designing, developing, and integrating payment solutions for mobility services (e.g., public transit, ride-sharing).\nSupport the implementation of payment gateways, APIs, and transaction processing systems.\nTechnical Support & Troubleshooting:\nProvide technical support for payment systems, addressing issues and ensuring smooth operation.\nTroubleshoot and resolve payment-related problems and system errors.\nTesting & Quality Assurance:\nParticipate in testing payment systems to ensure functionality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.\nAssist in identifying and resolving bugs or issues discovered during testing.\nExperience you'll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nHave had a prior internship as a Mobility Engineer\nAre currently using programming languages (e.g., Java,.Net, Python) and web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, JSON).\nHave analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAre currently using Data Structures and Algorithms\nBasic knowledge of database management, SQL.\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications:\nExperience or coursework related to payment systems, financial technology (fintech), or mobility solutions.\nBasic understanding of payment systems, including payment gateways and transaction processing.\nFamiliarity with security standards and compliance requirements for payment systems.\nBasic knowledge of database management and SQL is a plus.\nUnderstanding of mobile application development and integration.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.\nThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
