solutions on the Databricks platformAct as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients and senior stakeholdersProvide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with project deliveryServe as a Databricks subject matter expert across consulting engagementsDesign and demonstrate end-to-end Databricks solutions and platform capabilitiesAdvise prospective clients on architecture and solution designSupport pre-sales, business development and technical solutioning activitiesContribute to the development of the company's wider Databricks practiceCreate technical content, presentations and thought leadership around new Databricks capabilities and best practicesHelp clients understand how they can use Data, AI and GenAI capabilities within DatabricksWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced consulting architect with deep Databricks expertise who can combine solution architecture, hands-on technical delivery and client-facing consulting.You'll ideally have:7+ years' consulting or equivalent client-facing experienceStrong experience designing, implementing and engineering solutions using DatabricksDeep familiarity with Databricks across Data Engineering, Analytics, Machine Learning and AIStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and senior business audiencesExperience working within fast-paced, customer-facing consulting environmentsThe ability to provide architecture leadership while still contributing hands-on when requiredTechnical BackgroundYou'll ideally bring strong experience in one or both of the following areas:Data EngineeringBuilding production data pipelines within DatabricksPySpark, Scala and/or Spark SQLWorking across structured, semi-structured and unstructured dataDesigning scalable data engineering and lakehouse solutionsAI / Machine LearningML Engineering or AI EngineeringDeploying, promoting and serving Machine Learning modelsBuilding feature stores and production ML solutionsDeveloping RAG, chatbot, GenAI or other AI systemsHands-on knowledge of Databricks ML and Generative AI capabilitiesAdditional experience with the following would be highly desirable:Software Engineering and DevOps best practicesTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeDeploying and configuring Databricks workspaces and metastoresAWS, Azure or Google Cloud PlatformDatabricks certificationsIdeal BackgroundStrong background within Data & AI Consulting, Professional Services or Systems IntegrationExperienced working directly with enterprise customersComfortable leading technical conversations, workshops and presentationsAble to move between architecture, hands-on technical delivery and strategic advisoryPassionate about Databricks and the continued development of
