As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll contribute directly to this mission by designing and building scalable backend systems that power our enterprise-grade SaaS product.\r\nIn this role, you'll lead and execute projects to tackle the complex technical challenges that come with scaling an enterprise platform. This includes distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data systems, and AI-enabled features. Remote candidates will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.\r\nYou'll do Design and build backend services and systems that support LearnLux's enterprise SaaS platform.\r\nContribute to the evolution of our platform architecture, including efforts such as multi-tenancy and system scalability, within the scope of your team's projects.\r\nDevelop and maintain cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance, primarily on GCP (with AWS experience welcomed).\r\nApply strong engineering fundamentals to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant.\r\nWork with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi (preferred) or Terraform to maintain consistent and scalable environments.\r\nCollaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into well-scoped technical solutions.\r\nBuild and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python, contributing hands-on to critical systems.\r\nDrive engineering efficiency through automation, including the use of AI-driven or agentic systems to improve developer workflows, operations, and internal tooling.\r\nSupport global performance, reliability, and operational excellence.\r\nContribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.\r\nYou should bring Strong backend engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of projects and systems.\r\nProven experience building and maintaining scalable backend systems in a SaaS environment.\r\nSolid understanding of distributed systems concepts and cloud infrastructure.\r\nHands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python.
